No Excuses Personal Training
About
As a Fitness Professional, my passion is to guide people towards a healthier lifestyle. Everybody is unique, with their own goals and strengths. My approach is based on building an individualized program based on your goals, abilities, and interests. I aim to help you find the spark that unleashes your full potential.
I love to help people. I also love to share things that I'm passionate about with others. So being a personal trainer has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. Watching someone reach their fitness goals over a period of time is incredibly gratifying. I always love watching when my clients have their 'Aha!' moments when certain movements start to feel more natural, they notice they're getting stronger, or the number on scale gets to where they want it to be!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, we'll meet for an initial consultation and movement screen. The main goal is to get to know you better, set goals, talk about your previous and current exercise & nutrition habits, then check out how you move through different movement patterns.
From here, we'll set up a plan and begin working towards your goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the fitness industry for about 8 years, and hold the following certifications:
ACE Certified Personal Trainer & Health Coach
Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach
USAW & USATF Level 1 Coach
ACE Certified Weight Management Specialist
ACE Certified Youth Fitness Specialist
Spartan SGX Certified Coach
How did you get started teaching?
I earned my certification and began teaching boxing & kickboxing classes in 2013. After spending 2 years at the boxing gym, I managed the Fitness and Aquatics Center at the University of Maine at Machias for 2 years before moving to the Philadelphia area and starting my own training business.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of clients. Young, old, college athletes, weekend warriors, I've had the pleasure of working with a little bit of everybody!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a fitness professional that has several certifications and is continually educating themselves. This shows that they are a true professional and will be well equipped to guide you on your fitness journey.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
There's no such thing as a stupid question. If any question pertaining to fitness, nutrition, exercise, etc. comes to mind, ASK IT! Even if we don't know the answer off the top of our heads, as fitness profesionals we can find and answer and help you make sense of it.
