About

We believe in achieving optimal human performance through functional movement. Everyone is capable of moving, eating and thinking optimally. We are passionate about guiding people through that process. Optimal human performance is achieved when we work on our mind, body and nutrition. We accomplish this through utilizing the best possible functional strength equipment and strategies.

MCW Fitness is owned and operated by Jason McWalter, CSCS, Pn1. Jason is an experienced holistic Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, specializing in sport specific training, post rehab strength training, sports nutrition and weight loss management. Jason am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and helping his clients reach their fitness goals. Jason has worked with a variety of people coming off injuries, helping them to bridge the gap between rehab and full on strength training to return their sport as strong if not stronger then their pre-injury state.

I love seeing my clients succeed. When they learn a new exercise, move up in a weight or drop weight on the scale, I am almost more excited then they are at times. I also love everyday and every interaction is different. Have a diverse group of clients keeps my day fresh and unique.

I have been athlete my whole life. Going from team sports, football, basketball, baseball and soccer to individual sports, track, golf, rock climbing, yoga and snowboarding. I love playing and teaching sports so I went to school to get a degree in Exercise Science. After graduating I got my first job out college at the PRO Sports Club in Bellevue WA. I did Personal Training and Group Fitness for them.

All ages, but most adults between 25 and 60. Both men and women. Some athletes and some have never worked out before. I see a lot of people recovery from injury and I can help them not only get back to full strength, but get stronger than when they started.

Look for someone with experience and someone who loves what they do because they will give you everything the got.

What are my goals? What do I want to get out of working with a trainer? I am willing to commit to actually making a change?
