What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First I listen to the client's health and fitness history. Then work with that client to set goals that reflect exactly what they want and what thier body needs to move forward as the healthiest person possible.  Finally we go through a quick workout and schedule future meetings.

How did you get started teaching?

I was in nursing school when I realized that I wanted to dedicate my life to helping people staying healthy and out of the hospital system instead of while they are within it.


What types of students have you worked with?

Weight Loss, Muscle Build, Strength build, OCR, Endurance racing, running, cycling, baseball, strength and conditioning, mobility training, stretching, pre and post natal, as well as many many more.


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I am always a huge fan of the olympics.  I love seeing the variety of people and ways that our bodies can accomplish great things!


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure that you are a good fit with the fitness professional! You are going to be spending a lot of time together so make sure that you like them!


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Know what you want out of a workout or a program and what has held you back in the past.
