Greetings! My name is Armand Chéry and I have been a Personal Trainer for the past 21 years. Before becoming a Personal Trainer, I was an avid athlete, worked in finance, and taught French part-time. I work with clients of all ages from 9 to 95 years-old. My specialty is working with folks who want to lose weight, get stronger, and recovering from injuries especially low-back injuries, knee injuries, hip injuries, and neck injuries. I am also a Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Trainer and work with many golfers. I would be happy to help you start your fitness journey, give you the tools that you need to be successful, and cheer you along the way. I would like to not only be your trainer, but also your coach, and part of your support system.
I enjoy the fact that I can help make a difference in someone's health. More importantly, I enjoy seeing my clients put to use the tools that I give them, and be successful. I am passionate about fitness and I am happy to get up every day and know that I am going to help somebody.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I do is meeting with the client to be sure that we are a match. Once that is established, I set up an appointment with the client for a fitness evaluation to find out what she/he needs, present and past medical history, fitness level, nutritional needs, in order to customize a fitness program that suits their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Personal Trainer, I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and by the United States Olympic Committee. I am also certified by Titleist Performance Institute as a Golf Fitness Professional, which qualifies me to work with golfers, may they be professionals or amateurs. I am also a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, a TRX and Kettlebell certified, and a Manual Therapist certified by the Bancroft School of Massage.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing is $65.00 per training session if the client is within 15 miles from me. If it is further than 15 miles, then, $1.31 per mile will apply for each additional mile.
