Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process of working with someone new is to first have them complete a fitness and nutrition consultation. This will help me determine how I go about training them for the best results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed my certifications as a personal trainer and specialist in fitness nutrition. My continued education is an on going process to help my clients achieve all their health and fitness goals.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Personal Training Alliance offers several pricing packages to meet everyone's budget. Health is a investment towards your future and I make every effort to be price competitive, while offering more than your typical gym personal trainer.
How did you get started teaching?
Started teaching after helping my family and friends become more active in their lifestyle. Started my own business in 2000 and never looked back, continuing to help men and women with weight loss, become more energetic, confident, toned and healthier.
What types of students have you worked with?
Work with busy men, women and couples who have a hard time finding time in the day for fitness. I also serve as a person whom provides accountability and motivation to get workouts done quickly and safely.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the personal trainer cares about your health and listens to your concerns if something is bothering you or hurts.
Remember "No Pain No Gain" is a motto! If you are hurting yourself and can't continue you are hurting no one but yourself and could set you back many months. A good personal trainer will listen to you and modify the routine or exercise that you are doing.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you really ready to work out hard, eat right and hit your goals? Once the mind is right you will then be ready to reach all your fitness goals.
