Breathe, Balance, Believe
About
I received my 200 TT in Chicago and was taught in traditional yoga from teachers who received their training in India.
I am currently working towards my 1000 hour yoga therapy certification which is similar to physical therapy.
I teach small group classes of no more than 4 students and teach 1:1 2:1 private lessons. My studio overlooks a peaceful lake in Morton and I also have a studio in Peoria off of Knoxville and Pioneer Parkway.
Each of my students has their own yoga plan for in home and class practice. Each plan is developed with the student individually and includes the students personal goals as well as any physical limitations or imbalances I see in their body. These plans change as the students body and practice changes. This could be 3-6 months depending on the person.

I love each of my students and the way they interact and encourage one another in my group classes.
But the thing i love the most is seeing my students bodies become stronger and more flexible. I love when a student who had trouble just getting up and down from the floor can now do one leg balances and can move with ease. Or someone who couldn't lift their arms straight up over head can now do so without any discomfort or effort. There's so many changes I see in my students that I couldn't possibly list them all. I feel truly honored to be privileged to be part of the changes I get to see every day.
