Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Functional training is practiced in phases and based on the assessment and quality of performance given, I develop tailored programs in exercise and nutrition for the client to enhance their results and maintain them more efficiently.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified in physiology and anatomy as well as exercise sciences. Education is important and key for establishing the clients starting point. They should begin according to their current physical conditions and lifestyle choices. I teach sound information and the building blocks it takes to get clients to meet their goals.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Affordable pricing is done based on the clients needs and availability so there's different rates to accommodate and suit those needs for each individual to get started. In person I charge 100 per hour and provide pricing packages for the client to take advantage of short and long term services.
How did you get started teaching?
As a youth I've always been active and athletic however very small in size. Growing up I've come to understand how people relate to fitness and wellness and on the contrary, excuses made the more they age. That said, it's not the fault of the client but rather the system. I got started at a local gym soon after I got educated and have owned my own gym which was great. I continue education as humans keep evolving
What types of students have you worked with?
I've assisted everyday people. No one is exempt from fitness we "all" need it and it's proven and guaranteed to work 100 out of 100 times if you do something about it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My best advice is to consult with me and then shop around. If they don't sound like me then more than likely you'll return. I'm the best at what I do based on listening to my clients and understanding they're human and need attention to detail with firm explanations on how to do and what to do right the first time.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Am I going to modify my life and change to stay committed no matter the distraction?
