What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first assess what the clients goals are. Then I check to see if there are any injuries or limitations so that a safe program can be put in place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a certification as a Personal Trainer with the NSCA. I attended the American Academy of Personal Training in NYC. I’m certified as Group Fitness Instructor through ACE and I teach Total Body Fitness and Cardio Kickboxing. I am certified through Silver Sneakers to teach group training to Seniors.
How did you get started teaching?
I started at NY Sports Club and work currently at the YMCA and The Bronx House.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with all ages and clients with shoulder,back, hip, injuries. I’ve also worked with clients who have Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.
