Anthony is a trainer and coach certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, Nike, USA Track and Field, and the RRCA. He holds a Masters degree from Texas State University. A life-long athlete, Anthony enjoys running marathons and shorter distance races.
He is a trainer at the University of Texas at Austin and the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Rogue Athletic Club, an Olympic development team based in Austin, Texas, and led by former Texas Track and Field coach, Steve Sisson. A few notable achievements by athletes under his care include an Olympic qualification representing the United Kingdom at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, multiple qualifications to the 2016 Olympic trials, and multiple selections to represent Team USA in XC.
Anthony enjoys helping athletes reach their maximum potential. His training philosophy emphasizes striving to avoid injuries, while attempting to achieve maximum performance development with each one of his athletes.
Outside of training, he has a passion for traveling and the arts, as well as volunteering his time and skills to worthy causes and organizations in the community.

As a trainer, Anthony is encouraging, thoughtful, patient and motivating. Before I started working out with Anthony we met to discuss my goals and expectations, and when we started working out it was clear that he had prepared a workout tailored specifically to my goals. During the workouts, Anthony was encouraging and motivating, and he pushed me to work harder with each workout, while always staying conscious of my form. He also altered my workout as needed over time, which helped to see faster and lasting results. Overall, Anthony is a great trainer and a great person. Whatever your goals, Anthony will work with you in a positive environment and encourage you to live a healthy lifestyle.
In only two sessions, Anthony Ferraro helped me put together a fitness plan to help me with overall strength training, power-lifting, and interval training to lengthen my running distance. Despite the fact that Anthony specializes in cardiovascular training, he helped me improve my power-lifting form to the degree where I feel safe doing the squat, deadlift, and bench press on my own. Before we started our personal training sessions, Anthony met with me to discuss in detail what I wanted to get out of my workout and he tailored the training sessions based-on the input that I gave him. I would say that Anthony is everything that you are looking for in a personal trainer: he's courteous, he takes your fitness goals into consideration, he pays a lot of attention to form and safety, and he is patient with you even if you don't get it right the first time. I would recommend Anthony to anyone who is looking to get in shape regardless of their fitness goals.
Anthony has great communication skills and I feel like he is so comprehensive! In his first meeting with my teenager it was clear that I can rest easy knowing he has injury prevention, hydration, and nutrition all covered for my high school athlete! I have no doubt my rising senior will be well equipped to head into his role as Captain of the Cross Country Varsity Team with more confidence, improved strength and extra speed to meet his 19 min mile goal!
