About
Hi! My name is Whitney and I founded GirlPower Fitness in 2015 to give women a different kind of fitness experience. I know it can be hard to find a fitness routine that feels like the perfect fit, not to mention how intimidating it can be to walk into crowded, impersonal gyms.
Many of my clients haven’t worked out in a long time (or ever), have a health issue that needs extra care, are post-partum, or just self-conscious. My goal is to provide a safe, encouraging space – whether in-person or online – where women can get stronger and feel more confident.
I’ve been in the fitness industry since 1994 and I hold many certifications*, but I have found it really comes down to relationships and heart. If someone knows you care about them and you’re cheering them on, that’s what really motivates people to make real and lasting changes in their lives.
Investing in the improvement of your health changes your mindset starts a domino effect of making other healthy changes in your life.
So, please, reach out! I’d love to hear from you and find out more about your journey.
XOXO,
Whitney
