About

For our trainers, FightFit is the culmination of decades of teaching, training and competing in MMA, muay thai, kickboxing, wrestling, brazilian jiu jitsu, taekwondo, krav maga, and submission grappling.

Our trainers have spent thousands of hours instructing everyone from first timers to professional athletes, celebrities, and law enforcement.

We have implemented training curricula and nutrition programs for individuals, businesses, and the UFC’s Performance Institute in Las Vegas. Drawing on this experience, we’ve created FightFit Personal Trainers in 2014 to bring high quality, competition-tested training directly to Los Angeles.

On top of being world champions, blackbelts, and pro educators… we are heart-centered humans who really care about helping you reach your fitness goals and to feel better than you ever have before.

Matt is a consummate professional. He has helped me rediscover my love for muay thai as well as reinvigorating my personal conditioning. He runs his sessions intelligently and directly while avoiding the drill instructor model. He motivates and instructs effectively. He tracks my progress and advises me with off session nutrition guides and training regimens. If you are looking for an effective and innovative training regimen to get you into shape, Matt is your man!

Matt is such a great trainer. His boxing and Muay Thai skills are world class and he is a very patient and motivating coach. He is not only a skilled martial artist; he is also a genuinely nice person who cares about your success! Do yourself a favor and book a session with Matt so you can see what all the fuss is about.

I met Matt when he was training to neighbor at our gym. I loved how he would explain things and really understand that each person has different levels of fitness. My friend and I train with him about 2x a week. He gives you such a great workout targeted at your overall body he makes sure to rotate and get all your body parts fit and toned! I love how his workouts dont feel like workouts while your doing them.

Matt is the most thoughtful, responsible and professional trainer I have ever met. It takes me about a week to decide to write this review because good experience seems very hard to describe to me, and the only way to find out is to compare and discover the superiority by experiencing. When I contacted Matt he gave me a free try -out. Dont waste such a chance, I bet you will not give up challenging yourself with Matt once you start it. Matt was a professional MMA fighter who kept a perfect score. His professional athlete background is the very foundation of his teaching career. Good athlete is not mean to be a good coach, however, Matt are valued as the best coach by me because of his clean and accurate explanation of techniques, ways of inspiring my potential during training, scheduling a systematic training routine and full knowledge of nutrition and mental conditioning. People will say that they can train themselves, but when you aim for a goal which is obviously far beyond your current ability, you need a better person to stand by you, you need a person who eager to help you, and trust me Matt is that person your are looking for.

I was fortunate enough to meet Matt through the MMA gym I was training at, and I seriously cannot say enough good things about him and our training. As a girl, I have definitely sometimes felt self-conscious and awkward working out in front of other people, especially guys. But Matt is so kind and so professional that I felt incredibly comfortable around him from day one, and that comfort level allowed me to concentrate on whatever exercise or technique we were working on 100 percent. He is very supportive, so that even when he was pushing me to work harder and nudge me out of my comfort zone, I never felt like what he was asking was impossible or that I was stuck going it alone. Also he is a great listener, and will cater workouts to what you say you want to work on. OR in my case, I didnt know what I wanted to work on. I just told him, I want to get better at kick boxing!! and he came up with all kinds of great drills that focused on weaknesses in MY technique, based on what he saw at the gym. Matt is fantastic at breaking down really complicated kick boxing techniques and teaching them thoroughly and effectively, and hes just as great at doing that with different exercises for fitness (my sessions were technique-heavy because thats what I wanted, but I understand he works on just fitness stuff with other clients). We would spend about ten or fifteen minutes of each session on conditioning, and he taught me some great exercises that I still do, and that Ive never seen anyone else do. Like you literally cant learn them from anyone else. Also Matt is an MMA fighter himself, and so he knows all about how to get and stay in absolutely ridiculous shape. I was super lucky to get to work with Matt, and miss him dearly. But the things he taught me continue to stick with me and make a difference in the way I kick box, and really in the amount of confidence I have, at my new MMA gym and out in the world at large. I cant imagine a better trainer!
