About

I currently train at Fitness Results Gym in Upland, CA. We are a private facility and don't require contracts. We are a personal training only facility and offer different types of training: one on one training, partner training, small group training. We also offer boot camp classes. I use a structured fitness program tailored to each individual which only takes 30 minutes. And best of all, it is safe, effective and efficient.

Being a personal trainer allows me to connect with my clients in a personal and genuine way. I am able to provide them with the tools they need to achieve their fitness and health goals. I enjoy motivating individuals to find their true potential and use that to keep making progress one day at a time. It is truly rewarding when you know your client has been working really hard and they get the results they deserve. I love knowing that I made a difference in someone's life and helped get them to a happier and healthier place.

Janet is a fantastic trainer! I have multiple issues with my lower back and my sciatic nerve. She knows how to modify work outs to accommodate my limitations so I can still get maximum benefits! She definitely motivates me to to keep pushing myself and not let my limitations hold me back from my fitness goals! I would definitely recommend janet to anyone that is looking for motivation and a lifestyle change! Thank you Janet your the best!!!

Frequently asked questions

Every potential client receives a free consultation which includes reviewing medical history regarding injuries, health concerns, limitations or restrictions. I also go over the client's health and fitness goals so that a proper recommendation can be made as to what type of training is best for the client. Prior to purchasing a package I provide them with a free training session, so that the client can determine whether the type of training is a good fit for them. Upon signing up for training, clients receive a nutrition consultation and get their measurements and weight taken. I also track their progress each week to determine if any changes need to be made to the training program.

I received my personal training certification through W.I.T.S. (World Instructor Training Schools) it is approved and recognized by several organizations such as: ACE Credit, IACET, NCCA. I also interned and trained at two different facilities.

Prices vary depending on type of training: * One on one training: $50 per session, and each add on is $10. (for example, it would cost $60 for one on one training for two people) * Small group training: $199 per month for 3 times a week. $229 per month for 5 times per week. (small group training involves up to 5 people) * Boot camp classes: $139 per month for 3 times per week. Or you can pay for one class at a time for $15. * Initial consultation is FREE along with one free training session. * Clients receive 10% off first purchase of any training package. Clients also receive 10% off for every referral. (One on one training session is 30 minutes and boot camp classes are 45 minutes)

When I was young I enjoyed playing sports and maintained an active lifestyle ever since. I was passionate about being healthy and fit and worked out about 5 times a week. I was involved in a car accident and ended up injuring my back. I was devastated, because the doctor told me that I couldn't exercise for several months. Once I started feeling better I couldn't wait to get back into it. Throughout this time is when I realized how much exercising had helped me get to a healthier and better place and I knew I wanted to do the same for other people. I love being a personal trainer and have fun helping people at the same.

I've had the privilege of working with different types of clients. I've worked with clients with a variety of health issues: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fibromyalgia, joint pain, asthma, back problems, diabetes, overweight, etc. I've also worked with clients from various age ranges 13 years old to 70+. I've worked with individuals who are beginners as well as advanced. I enjoy working with all types of clients as long as they are truly dedicated and motivated to make a lifestyle change.

Something that I am proud of is that I currently train my mother who is 64 years old. When I first started training her several months ago, she had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and also has early stages of osteoporosis. My goal was to get her to a healthier place by her next check up which was a couple of months away. I trained her 3 times a week for 30 minutes each session. By her next check up appointment, she no longer had high cholesterol or high blood pressure and the doctor also told her she was getting much stronger. The most important part is that my mom is healthier and feels great.

I would advise them to look for a trainer who has experience working with clients similar to them. I also think it is best to choose a trainer who offers services that they are seeking. Another important factor the customer should consider are reviews. The customer should also check out the website of the facility the trainer works at. The customer should hire someone who's quote fits within their budget. I would also encourage the individual to look into the trainer's profile and see if they can make a connection through their story. I feel it is very important for the individual to feel comfortable and trust the professional.

I believe it is important for individuals to know exactly what they want before talking to a professional, so that they can ask the right questions and get the information they need. The student/customer should ask the professional how many projects similar to theirs have they completed. Another question the customer should consider is about the risks involved with fulfilling their needs. The customer should think about whether the professional can provide them with the proper recommendation for their needs.
