It was two years ago that Sean began to change my life. It all started when my doctor and physical therapist regretfully told me the news no one ever wants to hear - I could no longer do what loved. While I have suffered from back, neck and hip pain for as long as I can remember, the activities I did daily (barre and boxing) were only making my condition worse. I was told I needed to take a few months off and work with a personal trainer to regain some strength.
A colleague referred me to Sean during my search for a personal trainer. I was hesitant since I have tried a handful of trainers over the years and never had great luck. But Sean was different. Over the phone, he took the time to listen to me explain how I ended up in the situation I was in. During our first session, he was cautious and asked plenty of questions, rather than simply assuming he knew what was best for me.
We have weekly sessions that I always look forward to. Each one is different from the other. Time after time, I leave feeling stronger than when I walked in. Sean also built custom workouts for me that Im confident enough to do on my own at the gym. There was noticeable muscle definition within just the first three months. Im now able to run without pain for the first time in my life.
What I like the most about Sean is that he always takes the time to listen. He quickly finds substitutions to exercises when needed. He never assumes he knows more about my body than I do (although sometimes he might!).
In a dream world, I would workout with Sean on a daily basis. We all know personal training comes at a cost though, and most people have limitations. Im just glad I chose to invest in Sean, as he has without a doubt helped my body heal and become stronger!

I am a local Hollywood Chiropractor and I have worked with many trainers throughout the years. Seans approach is like no other. He is extremely knowledgeable and informed in regard to human anatomy and bio-mechanics. I trust Sean with my patients and also with myself. He is able to focus on people with different conditions and improve their outcomes.

Sean is amazing! He has helped me go from completely inactive to working out 3x/week, offering nonjudgmental, gentle encouragement the whole way.
His business name, Informed Movement, perfectly describes his approach: Sean has a gift for explaining exactly how to position your body and where to focus your mind so that you maintain proper form and get the most out of your workout.
After 6 months working together, I feel much stronger and have more energy than I’ve had in years. And I’ve managed to remain injury-free while ramping up my activity, which is all credit to Sean’s excellent instruction.
If you’ve been thinking about improving your workouts — whatever your current fitness level — I highly recommend reaching out to him!

I had suffered a severe injury two years prior to my arm. I had completed a pretty extended regiment of physical therapy, and began working out at the gym on my own. However, I still was left with discomfort in my elbow, and was unable to reach the fitness I had been at before my injury. I had never had any formal training for proper lifting techniques. I decided to seek out a trainer to get back to a level of fitness I was happy with.
I began working with Sean at the of 2018. In the span of three to four months, I noticed significant change. He taught me not only correct form, but also gave me a very clear and comprehensive schedule to follow. I was able to make some simple changes to improve my form, and therefore better target those muscle groups. The discomfort I had in my arm, while not completely gone, has been drastically reduced. It has even allowed me to pursue hobbies I used to enjoy, but was unable to continue, such as rock climbing. I also feel stronger in all other parts of my body as well. I would highly recommend seeking out Seans program, especially if you have struggled to regain strength after some sort of physical trauma.

I still work out with Sean. This has been a long-term fitness partnership here in LA, that I appreciate very much. Seans experience enters the equation whenever were together. His workouts are excellent. He always comes prepared with workouts and exercises that address my fitness needs. Finally, he consults with me on individual exercise performance (with solid suggestions for improvements) and we have regular check-ins on my evolving exercise needs.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to start with a FREE consultation that lasts about an hour. In that time I focus on where the person is at, what they have done in the past as it relates to their current goals and dive deep in to what their goals are and why they are so important.

From there we get out on the floor and I take the information gathered along with a thorough movement and strength assessment (appropriate to the person's physical abilities and goals) and use all that data to provide an on the spot customized workout.

I want the person meeting me for the first time to understand how well I know what to do for their program in design and care.

Fitness can be an intimidating experience and I want to make sure each person feels comfortable and confident with me and their program.

I have 4 national certifications through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine)

    1. Certified Personal Trainer.

    2. Corrective Exercise Specialist.

    3. Fitness Nutrition Specialist.

    4. Performance Enhancement Specialist.

I also have 2 certifications through NSPA (National Sports Performance Association).

    1. Certified Program Design Specialist

    2.Certified Sports Nutrition Coach.

If it's an in-home or apartment gym training session (60 min. sessions), my rates are $135-$155 depending on weekly frequency and location.

My one-on-one training rates (60 min. sessions) at the studio (HVY Industry - 7819 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036) the rates range from $110-$135 depending on weekly frequency and monthly commitment.

Details on your price can be found out through a consult.

I started lifting weights when I was 13 years old and never looked back. Through high school sports and throughout the rest of my life I continued leveraging workouts and fitness as a way of life. 13 years ago I turned that love and passion for health and fitness in to a career that has given me many achievements and I've gained so much inspiration through the clients and co-workers I've had the pleasure of working with.

I have worked with people from 17 years old up to 75. I've trained professional baseball players, stay-at-home dads and moms, corporate executives, chefs, students, lawyers, chiropractors, doctors, musicians, you name it.

You want to find a professional that listens, and knows how to support your individual needs and motivations. Someone who doesn't have a, "my way or the high-way," mentality but at the same time knows how to lead.

What kind of expectations would you have about what it would take to get to your goals? Sometimes this is the gap that separates a person from their desires. That's why having a great coach that supports and keeps you inspired is the bridge that leads you to success.
