We offer customized workouts in a welcoming environment. We have five certified trainers who provide workouts to meet each individuals needs and goals. We have various certifications from RKC kettlebell and TRX to MELT Method and have 4-15 years of experience. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Discuss goals and needs. Meet for fitness assessment. Create schedule with trainer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our trainers are certified as personal trainers as well as additional certifications such as RKC, TRX, USB, ProNatal and others. We do ongoing continuing education to stay current with the best and latest fitness trends.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our rates are as follows:
$110-$150/private training
$150-$170/semi private ($75-85/per person)
$250/10 pack of group classes
$28/drop in group class
$200/monthly unlimited group classes
What types of students have you worked with?
From children to seniors though the bulk of our clients are 40 and up. We specialize in providing custom workouts for all fitness levels working around injuries with a focus on functional training.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Hearing from a senior client that his stress tests results were that of someone a decade younger! Also hearing that clients are able to carry something heavy like large bags of dog food when they previously could not.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a trainer who you feel comfortable with. Someone who will be a motivator when you need it as well as competent.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do they want to accomplish by improving their fitness and why? What concerns do they have? What's their motivation for using a trainer?
