About

I have been active all of my life. I have a passion for feeling strong and confident in my body, and I love to help others share that same passion for themselves. While I have vast experience with exercise, health, and nutrition, my degree is in psychology. I have a unique ability to also listen and counsel clients to overcome the obstacles and hurdles that have prevented them in the past from achieving their fitness and health goals.

    Frequently asked questions

I first offer a free fitness assessment to measure my client's current levels of strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. I use the results along with my client's goals to design a personalized plan that enables those goals to become a reality.

My college degree is in psychology, but I also have taken many college courses in exercise physiology. I have many years of experience managing a women's personal training center while training clients myself. I have also owned my own business, training clients in their homes.

It really is dependent on the client's unique needs and schedule. Some clients do best with regular half-hour sessions, while others prefer hour long ones. Some train several times a week, while others meet with me once each week and train on their own the other days. I have many plans and packages available.

I have always had a passion for fitness and activity. I started dance when I was two years old and really haven't stopped being active since. I realized early on that I also love working with people, inspiring them toward health and wellness, and helping them achieve their goals. Personal training is a perfect fit for both my personality and abilities.

I have worked mostly with women, but I enjoy helping anyone of any age achieve their goals.

Find someone who genuinely cares about you as a person. People are complex, and their needs are complex. The entire person, their emotions, their past, their insecurities, their strengths and weaknesses, must be considered when helping someone achieve their goals.

What are the obstacles that have gotten in the way of you achieving your goals in the past? What kind of thoughts persist for you that relate to food and nutrition, exercise and health? What type of trainer do you need to help you address those obstacles and overcome them?
