About
Old school gym with a family feel and a whole lot of respect. We have personal trainers who will guide and help you to achieve your goals. Classes, such as Boot Camp, Booty Blast, HiiT, are also available.
There is no "one size program" that fits all. We strive to mix things up so no one gets boored or remains stagnet.
Come see how we can get you on the right path to a "better you."
Working with people who are motivated to change themselves. Weight training is not only to sculpt your body and make it better than it already is, but also clears your mind and is a natural destressor.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session is a fitness assessment to see where the client's levels are to date. Based on our discussions, we tailor the program to help our client to build muscle and guide them through the dietary process. We are NOT just a gym - we work closely with our clients to ensure they are making progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
ASFA certified.
I am the owner and GM of The Muscle Mill in Milltown, NJ since 2016.
Being an older woman who has lost 140 lbs, I train hard and frequently to achieve my personal goals. I understand and can totally relate to the everyday pressures of trying to keep a balance in life with family, work and finding time for oneself.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Personal training is $60.00 per session and can be purchased in a block of time or pay as you go. Training is priced per session and NOT by time as I make sure that we take the appropriate time to address the body part as needed. Training sessions will typically run from 45 minutes to an hour or slightly longer.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after becoming the owner and GM of The Muscle Mill. Wanted to share my knowledge, personal and professional, with those who want to make a change in themselves. It's not an easy journey, but it's attainable.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all levels - those who are new to weight training, those who are experienced and need motivation, kids from 12-17 and older clients who are looking to improve their mobility and balance.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We are a very community based gym and recently attended Milltown day. I enjoyed engaging people in conversation about fitness, particularly women who tend to shy away from weight training for fear of looking "too hard." It was a GREAT day because I was able to talk about what I enjoy doing everyday.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
First and foremost, your trainer should look like they train. They should have an excitement in their voice when they talk about what they do and be supportive and motivating. Trainers are a gateway into the fitness world. We are here to guide and motivate you to make life changes that will benefit our clients.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is my level of committment? Be honest to yourself.
What am I looking to achieve? *this will always change and shift due to obtaining short term goals and establishing new ones.
