I've been passionate about nutrition & fitness since I was in high school for a handful of reasons. I became aware how important nourishing your body was for longevity when I lost my closest grandparent to Type II Diabetes. (largely related to his opposition to altering his nutrition, he was a chef) This sparked an interest in me to not only prevent myself becoming diabetic, but also helping others with their lifestyles as well. It wasn't until I started college that I learned I could major in Human Nutrition and further my knowledge in fitness and nutrition sciences, so I earned a bachelor's degree from PSU & OHSU. I've always been hungry for knowledge - especially with the updated science in health & fitness every year - so I make it a point to continue my education through research, certifications and workshops.
I LOVE helping people find routines that uphold healthier minds and bodys while enjoying it along the way. I have been training professionally for about five years now and have found my best fits are those who want a FULL LIFESTYLE TRANSFORMTION. I love working with people who understand how important it is to have the right mindset going into a health & fitness journey, as it is important to know it's a journey, not a quick pit-stop.

When I started training with Kaileigh I was a whooping 22 years young, now at the age of 26 I finally felt ready to take a step back from one on one personal training. It took time and lots of work on my end and probably even more work on Kaileigh’s end, but with lots of little steps together and Kaileigh’s determination to help me succeed I feel like a new me, an improved me. Before I met Kaileigh I knew myself to overtrain, run too many miles in one day and never ate enough. Until I took the first little step and signed myself for personal training with Kaileigh. And it could only be Kaileigh, I was pretty picky but hey you should be too and im sooo glad that I was As I started to work with Kaileigh twice a week for 30-minute sessions I started to see little changes. I didn’t lose a ton of weight or anything crazy, but I did start to notice that I felt a little stronger and hey my endurance level seemed a little higher. And all of sudden just a sliver of trust started to grow. As our training sessions went by we started to change little things, like what I was eating for breakfast, yup just breakfast. And even then, I felt like my energy level was higher. Kaileigh and I started to focus on specific muscle groups where I wanted to gain muscle and I started to loosely follow the macros she set for me. I say loosely, very loosely at first. I was still learning what and how to eat. Kaileigh offered me suggestions and guess what she kept track. What I mean by that is she held me accountable for the food that I was logging into my macros, but I needed it. Like everyone else we all have weaknesses, one of mine being sugar! I had to learn what “flexible eating” really was. By holding me accountable, you guessed it, I saw myself gain more strength and the trust I had for Kaileigh became more than a sliver. As trust began to build between Kaileigh and I- that’s when I started to see more results. These little changes that I took the time to acknowledge and celebrate led to the big changes that I wanted to see from the very beginning. Now when I feel myself wanting to over train or run a million miles I have a reflex. And it reminds me to that I have Kailiegh and to trust thel process and follow the plan. Because when I fully trust Kaileigh I KNOW I get the results. To this day, I remember the day I became a client of Kaileigh’s and how much it has turned my life and more importantly my mindset about exercise and nutrition. So, take the time to celebrate the little things, even if it’s just feeling like you have more energy that day. You’re doing something right and let that be enough for now. All in turn this will lead to the trust you need to see the results you want.
I had never understood the value of a personal trainer until Kaileigh worked with me. Every workout she customized for me left me feeling great mentally and physically. It felt like I had the support of a friend, but the professionalism of a trainer who had been working for years. She provided me with the motivation and laughs I needed to get through the toughest days. At the start of my plan she broke down nutrition for me in a comprehensive conversation. Understanding how food is just as important as exercise dramatically changed my life. I saw results a lot quicker than I had compared to other plans I had done, and was able to workout even harder. Throughout my training she shared her favorite meal ideas and tips that I still swear by today. Before I always got bored of "dieting" but she does a great job of balancing nutrition, making it fun and manageable so you feel satisfied and not deprived of the things you love. Working with Kaileigh changed my whole outlook on health, and was the BEST investment I have made in myself. I can honestly say she is the best trainer I have ever worked with.
Kaileigh is a great trainer. I always thought personal training was going to be a drag and long. But Kaileigh made it fun and time goes by so fast I always wanted more time in my training. Bat the end of the training session you know you got a good workout in! She answered all the questions I had about nutrition and workouts. She ever recommend what type of brands to try and eat. Her weekly emails for promotions on protein bars and more are so helpful. Everyone's body is different and she took time to understand how my body is and set certain workouts I should do for my problem areas. She also took time out to set my work out schedule and wrote down all the workouts for me. Which was really helpful for me. She really helped me feel good about myself and gave me the motivation to workout and get into a better lifestyle.
My girlfriend and I hired Kaileigh in 2017 and continued though out the year of 2018. Kaileigh is phenomenal and super knowledgeable about fitness and diet. I never really hung out much at the gym and I felt like a fish out of water. Kaileigh made me feel so welcome and comfortable and took her time teaching me the exercises and equipment. I lost a lot of weight and my RA is in remission. My girlfriend had bad balance and she helped tremendously with getting her on track so she doesn't fall anymore. I highly recommend Kaileigh!
Working together, I typically begin by meeting for about an hour (for free) so we can talk about your goals, history, lifestyle, and do a basic movement screening.
From there, we will decide what program is best for you and we will move forward with setting up our weekly appointments, payment, some general forms, etc.
Then we work to reach those goals!
