    Frequently asked questions

1️⃣ Start with a real conversation. Before any workout, we sit down and talk goals, history, injuries, schedule, and what hasn’t worked before. I want clarity. 2️⃣ Full assessment. We measure weight, body composition, and full body measurements. Then I assess movement — posture, balance, mobility, and strength baseline. No guessing. Data first. 3️⃣ Define a 12-week target. We don’t train week-to-week. We train with a roadmap. Clear outcome. Clear milestones. 4️⃣ Build a structured program. Whether it’s Fit4Her small group or 1:1 EmpowerHer, everything follows progressive strength training. Each week builds on the last. 5️⃣ Coach every rep. Form first. Intention first. They learn what they’re doing — not just sweat. 6️⃣ Track and adjust. Bi-weekly check-ins. Measurements. Feedback. If something stalls, we adjust — not quit. 7️⃣ Reinforce mindset. Strength isn’t just physical. We build consistency, discipline, and belief. By the time 12 weeks are done, they don’t just look different. They move differently. They think differently. They carry themselves differently. That’s the process.

My credentials include: • ISSA Strength & Conditioning • ISSA Nutrition Specialist • NFTP Certified Personal Trainer • Kettlebell Certification • TRX Suspension Training Certification • Cycle Instructor Certification • Menopause Strength Training Specialist My foundation is strength-first programming, but over the years I’ve specialized heavily in training women — especially women 40+ navigating hormonal changes, energy shifts, and body composition challenges. Beyond certifications, I bring 17+ years of hands-on experience coaching over 300 women through structured strength programs — including transformations as significant as 130 pounds lost in one year. My education is both formal and applied. I don’t just know the science. I’ve coached it. Refined it. Proven it. And that’s what separates knowledge from mastery. .

Yes, we use a structured pricing system based on commitment and level of coaching. All programs require a minimum 3-month commitment because real strength and body-composition changes take structure and consistency. Fit4Her Small Group Strength Training 6-week structured program (3-month minimum commitment) 30-minute outdoor coached sessions $460 per 6 weeks EmpowerHer 12-Week 1:1 Strength Training Private, fully customized coaching Assessments, tracking, accountability $1,500–$1,800 per 12 weeks, depending on structure RenewStrong 40+ Menopause Strength Training Specialized 1:1 hormone-smart strength program $2,000 per 12 weeks Fit4Her (Anywhere) Virtual Strength Training Live 30-minute coached sessions $360 per month 3-month commitment required Everything we do is built around structured strength progression — not drop-ins. We focus on measurable change over 12 weeks so women see real results. If someone isn’t sure which program is right for them, we start with a free 45-minute assessment to map out the right plan.

I started Body By U Fit because I saw too many women training hard… and still not getting the results they deserved. Back then, I was just a coach who believed strength changes more than your body. It changes how you walk into a room. How you speak. How you see yourself. I didn’t want to open just another gym. I wanted to build something structured. Coaching-first. Built specifically for women who were tired of guessing. So I started training outdoors. Small groups. Real attention. Real accountability. One woman at a time turned into hundreds. What began as a passion to help women feel strong became a mission to make strength their lifestyle. Body By U Fit wasn’t built on equipment. It was built on belief.

    • Busy professional women who don’t have an hour to waste • Moms are trying to get their strength and confidence back • Women 40+ navigating menopause and low energy • Beginners who’ve never lifted weights before • Former athletes ready to feel powerful again • Women who’ve lost 10–20 lbs and women who’ve lost 100+ • Women rebuilding after injuries • Executives who want strength that matches their ambition But here’s the common thread: Women who were done guessing. They wanted structure. They wanted accountability. They wanted to walk past that mirror and say, “Damn, I did that.”

One event I’ll always be proud of is helping Shelli Matthews lose 130 pounds in one year. But it wasn’t just about the weight. It was about watching someone completely change how she saw herself. Shelli didn’t just show up once and get lucky. She showed up consistently. Early mornings. Tough days. Weeks where progress felt slow. We stayed structured. We tracked. We adjusted. We didn’t guess. Over 12 months, the scale dropped 130 pounds. But what moved me most wasn’t the number. It was the shift in her posture. The confidence in her voice. The way she walked into a room differently. The moment she realized, “I did this.” That transformation reminded me why I started Body By U Fit in the first place. Strength changes bodies. Discipline changes habits. Belief changes lives. Helping Shelli step into a completely new version of herself is something I’ll always be proud of.

I’d tell them this: Don’t hire a trainer. Hire a teacher. There’s a difference. A trainer can make you sweat. A teacher makes you understand what you’re doing and why. If you’re looking for someone in strength training, ask: • Do they coach form — or just count reps? • Do they have a structured plan — or random workouts? • Can they explain progression — or just demonstrate exercises? • Do they specialize in people like you — or train everyone the same way? You want someone who: Builds a roadmap Tracks progress Corrects movement Adjusts based on your body Cares about long-term strength, not quick fatigue And here’s the real test: After one session, do you feel more confident… or just more tired? The right teacher leaves you stronger and smarter. That’s who you hire.

Before talking to a strength coach, students should get clear on themselves first. Here’s what they need to think through: 1️⃣ What is my real goal? Not “get in shape.” Do you want to lose 15 lbs? Build muscle? Improve posture? Get stronger after 40? Run a 5K without pain? Be specific. 2️⃣ Why does this matter right now? Are you tired of starting over? Low energy? Clothes not fitting? Doctor’s warning? A clear reason creates commitment. 3️⃣ How much time can I realistically give? Two days a week? Three? Mornings only? Evenings? Be honest about your schedule. 4️⃣ Do I want structure or freedom? Some people want someone to tell them exactly what to do. Others want flexibility. Know your learning style. 5️⃣ What has not worked before? Bootcamps? Random gym workouts? Diets? If you don’t identify patterns, you repeat them. 6️⃣ Am I ready to be coached? Coaching means correction. Accountability. Feedback. Not just encouragement. 7️⃣ What level of support do I need? Small group? 1:1? Virtual? High accountability or light guidance? 8️⃣ What does success look like in 12 weeks? Picture it. Stronger arms? Leaner waist? More energy? Walking past the mirror and feeling proud? When students think through these first, the conversation with a coach becomes focused and powerful. Clarity saves time. Clarity builds results. Clarity prevents quitting.
