The basis of my mission in the fitness field is to build a trusting relationship with each of my clients, concentrating on the “why” as much as "what" their fitness goals are. Everyone’s goals are unique and personal to them. If we can determine the “why” we can better understand what we need to do to help you with the “what”. It’s the “why” that motivates a person to work towards the “what”.
For almost 20 years I have been helping people become more fit and healthy. Over the last 10 years my scope has expanded to improving the overall quality of life for my clients. This includes fitness, flexibility, nutrition, stress relief and overall helping them to make positive changes to their lifestyle. Getting healthy and happy generally requires people to make some significant changes in their lives. I believe by making incremental changes over time, we can work together to insure that you, not only reach your “what”, and succeed in the "why", but help make sure the change is a permanent one. I believe it is important that we commit to a plan and work together to do everything possible to help make sure you are successful! My primary goal is to educate and help my clients reach their goals. I work with each client to find the "why" they have the goals they do. Together we develope a plan designed specifically for them to help them reach their "why". Every program I develop is specifically designed to fit my clients capabilities and goals.
When I work with a client we are a team! Their goals are my goals! I make sure they understand what and why of the plan we agree on. I get tremendous satisfaction watching them making the changes necessary to reach their goals and experiencing the results of their hard work.
Why am I personal trainer? I enjoy meeting new people and building new relationships. Working together with each of my clients, teaching them the how and the why, and sharing in their successes is my reward. love sharing my experience and knowledge.
He helped me feel good about myself by showing me the way to physical self-improvement. A great teacher, encouraging and motivating.
I have had Dennis Ehntholt (PT4UNOW) as a trainer since 2016. He helped me prepare for a hip replacement in that year and I have continued to this day to use him as a trainer. He is knowledgeable in both gym work and dietary issues. As I am not nor ever will be a "gym rat" I appreciate his training methods; he encourages and coaxes me to better myself without being "boot camp" severe. I am 72 years old and still going strong thanks to Dennis.
He knew my limits and always took me there with friendship and encouragement. I trusted his decisions about my needs.
All my clients undergo a detailed assessment to determine current physical condition and to detect any muscular imbalances or limitations. Once we determine the “what” and the “why”, we work together to develop a program that meets those needs and make adjustments as needed. After all, the only thing constant in life is change! Utilizing dynamic functional training, the goal is to improve your overall fitness and mobility. This helps assure that you will be ready for whatever life throws at you!

After going through my own transformation over 25 years go, people started asking me how I did it. I started out helping other people in the gym with workout and nutrition tips that I had learned. Later I became a certified personal trainer and a nutrition coach. I have been working full time with clients since 2006.
