Maryland Strength and Human Performance was created to fill a void in performance training for athletes and non-athletes alike. As a high school varsity athlete, Coach Bryan missed the opportunity to improve on his weaknesses in strength and speed due to a lack in education of strength and conditioning. Over the last 14 years, Bryan has experienced the value in performance training through his time in the U.S. Navy as well as through his own personal journey with strength training in powerlifting and weightlifting. Through his experience and education, Coach Bryan strives to pass on his knowledge to ALL athletes and non-athletes, both young and old.
Coach Bryan is a Certified Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength Professionals Association and a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer. He specializes in Strength and Conditioning of both youth and adult athletes of all sports. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Bryan has been a Navy Fitness Leader, Sport Performance coach, and a Strength and Conditioning Intern Coach at the Landon School. He was a high school varsity athlete in baseball and football. Since high school he has competed in powerlifting and weightlifting, and now plays men's league ice hockey. Through his experience and education, he is fully focused on guiding athletes to reach their full genetic potential on their path to becoming better athletes. Coach Bryan brings incredible energy to training both novice and elite athletes!

Initial contact will be through a phone interview where we can learn a little about the client's goals and I share my philosophy for training. Then our first one-on-one session will be a complementary session where we dive deeper into the client's goals and then engage in a training session.
I am a Certified Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength Proffessionals Association and a Certified Personal Trainer with the NSCA. I am also a certified powerlifting coach and a Power Athlete Block One coach. I have been a Navy Fitness Leader and CrossFit Coach.
