Louis is an excellent personal fitness trainer and has exceeded my expectations! He possesses the knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to provide a safe and effective fitness plan. He has great customer service and will answer any and all of your questions. As his client, my primary goal was to lose weight and tone my legs and arms. I was overweight and I wanted a lifestyle change both physically and mentally. When I originally started working out with Louis my form was terrible and I was unable to do most exercises properly. I was not motivated to move beyond my basic cardio which was walking in my neighborhood. However, when I started working out with Louis 2-3 times a week I became motivated to do more about my unhealthy condition. I was provided a fitness plan, cardio training, nutrition counseling, and a meal plan to help meet my personal goals. The exercise regiment was hardly ever the same. I was provided circuit and compound exercises which made it more exciting. His exercise and meal plan helped me to lose the unwanted weight and helped to tone my targeted areas. Since I have been working out with Louis I have more energy and I look and feel better. I have more endurance, strength, and flexibility which has improved my performance tremendously. When working with a new client I first invite them in for a 1:1 consultation. We discuss their goals and determine if what I offer is a great fit for their journey. In the next steps during our first session I conduct a fitness evaluation, we can’t get to our goals if we don’t know and understand where we are currently. Also I demonstrate the proper way to active stretch and explain the importance of it which is to prevent injuries.
I have studied at Body University in Atlanta, GA where they have a partnership with the two most leading certifications in the industry (ACE/NASM). Also I attend several clinics throughout the year for continuing education.
My sessions are determined by goals and needs. After I have sat down with a potential client and completed a fitness evaluation I then recommend a package to the prospect based on information shared with me. I believe in starting each client off to where they’re comfortable and it wouldn’t be too much for them (physically) at once.
I started off training my wife and myself for our wedding. I gained the love for the gym during that process. After having great results of losing 150lbs combine between the two of us I had several people asked me to train them as well. After speaking it over with my wife, I decided to go get the proper education/certification for it to become a fitness professional.
My clients ages range from 25-65 years of age. I have worked with individuals that wanted to lose body fat, gain muscle, athletes, and also a couple celebrities.
Do your research on that individual. Make sure you’re being invited to do a consultation to discuss your goals and needs. This is your time not only to tell the teacher/coach about you but for you to get all the information, questions and/or concerns you may have addressed. Make sure the teacher you hire is certified in a accredited certification, insured and is knowledgeable in the area he/she promotes. Be sure to discuss all injuries one may have or had. This is very important because a fitness professional will take notes of that while conducting assessment.
