About

My services stand out because they come from a former professional athlete. Every workout and diet plan is customized to each team member (I don't refer to anyone as clients, but as team members, we are all in this together). Each workout is designed to give each team member excercises to do on their own. I take my time and get to know each team member and see exactly what their needs are. Everything for them is designed specificially for them, there are no one size fits all programs. I also work out with everyone for the most part. I believe you should never put people through something that you're not willing to do yourself.

I love helping people with their goals. I love seeing the mental shift and the happiness that comes through a grueling process. Watching people get over that hurdle in their life is big to me. Every day I wake up in hopes to make a positive impact in everyone's life that i come across. I enjoy when team members start off struggling with a certain excercise/circuit/workout, but through their dedication and resilience can eventually do each excercise and complete the workout.

Frequently asked questions

First, I get to know each person and learn about their needs. Everyone is different, so I refuse to treat anyone as a one size fits all. After I get to know what they're looking for, I want to figure out what their biggest struggles/battles have been during this process. Most people are reluctant to give up the entire truth, but the only way I can truly help you is if I know everything. That does not mean anything too personal. Mainly do you struggle sticking to a schedule, a diet, etc. Next we put together a plan on how we're going to combat this process and we only start if everyone is willing to go ALL IN.  Half way in is no good because if we don't see the results we want it's natural to blame the trainer. You will get my A game every single work out. I can guarantee that. Once we get started, it's about you. There's no ego or pride built in with me, if you feel we should be doing something a little different or trying a new approach I'm totally open to hearing from you.

I've been into fitness my entire life. Being an athlete I always needed to stay in shape and take care of my body. I've coached alongside and learned from numerous trainers. My most recent opportunity to work with the best was with Rutgers University Football. I was an assistant strength and conditioning coach working with the athletes to get them ready to play. I also do speed and agility. I have my own track program and in high school I was a 100m dash meet of champions winner. I played college football and in the NFL and learned from some of the best coaches. I've also worked with Olympic coaches.

Yes I do. I do charge session by session. I don't hold anyone to a contract or make you pay for packages months in advance. You can just pay as you go.

I got started once I was done playing in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I knew I enjoyed helping people and I needed to stay in shape as well so it perfect together. At first I was reluctant to do fitness training because I never saw myself as a fitness trainer. I only wanted to coach athletes.  However, a few friends kept asking me to help them get into shape. I said no at first. But after giving it some thought I decided to help them. Once I saw the weight coming off of them quickly it made me excited and I wanted to help others. This was a way for me to do mission trips locally.

For athletic training, parents came to me while I was in college to help their children run faster and be better overall athletes. I didn't mind helping when I had the time available. Once I finished playing football, I was invited to coach camps, teams, groups etc. I had the opportunity to work with so many athletes across numerous sports (football, lacrosse, softball, soccer, basketball, baseball, wrestling, field hockey, etc.). Athletes that went on to get drafted in the first round of the NFL draft (Minkah Fitzpatrick and Kenny Picket). Lacrosse, football, and softball national champions. Super bowl champions and many others. Countless Division 1 athletes across each sport. High school State champions (teams and individuals).

I tell everyone I speak with to ask the tough questions. Do not worry about offending anyone. You have to make sure you find the right fit for you. Just because a trainer works well with your best friend doesn't mean they will work well with you. Also, be wary of those that know the "books" inside and out but don't know how to do hands on. The book doesn't teach heart, grit, and how to overcome shortcomings. It doesn't teach mentality. Make it simple. I tell my athletes all the time, "if a professional team called you today, and told you they wanted you to try out with them tomorrow, what would you eat today?" This question makes everything clear to them in a heartbeat. And for fitness, I tell everyone to send me a picture of what they're about to eat. If you for the slightest bit feel uncomfortable sending it to me for whatever reason, then you probably shouldn't be eating it. Make it simple.

Also, don't look for your trainer to do everything for you. You have to put the work in on your own as well. No program can help you lose or gain weight unless you're staying discipline when no one is watching. That doesn't mean be perfect, but it does mean be real with yourself.
