At the official Body in Balance™ Pilates Studio in Cobble Hill Brooklyn, your Personal Pilates session will focus on improving flexibility, strength, balance, correcting bad postures and overall health. Short muscles get longer and weak muscles get stronger, without building bulk. Your spine and muscles will enjoy a sense of flexible freedom, right after your first Pilates session. You will also become more aware of your body, dramatically improving your posture, releasing neck, shoulder, back pain and tightness with coordination and core awareness.
I've been teaching and helping others improve their physical health and Well Being since 1975. In the early 1990's I was very fortunate to find my mentor, Debra Lessen. She was mentored by Coarola, who herself was taught by Joseph and Clara Pilates. I studied with Debra for 7 years and opened up my studio, Body in Balance Studio, in 1995. I teach the method originated by Joseph Pilates the way he wanted it to be taught.
With my many years of experience and training, learning Pilates with me will be the closest thing you can get to his legacy,
giving you the authentic experience.
My teachings have remained consistent in helping my clients get amazing results, whatever the injury or problem.
