Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When it comes to training a new client in boxing, I preach and teach great habits. You just have to bring your work ethic. By the end of a workout session with me, you'll walk away with a better understanding of boxing fundamentals, train at a higher level, enhanced boxing IQ and improved body strength.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 14 years of amateur boxing experience. I've been experienced with exercising and weightlifting for over 28 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My fees start at $140 per session. I also offer training packages at lower costs. The pricing for the packs are as follow: 3-day @ $130.00 per session, 6-day @ $120.00 per session, 10-day @ $110.00 per session, 15-day @ $90.00 per session and 20-day @ $80.00 per session. Please note that clients are required to pay the total cost upfront for all packages.
How did you get started teaching?
I started out training some of my friends and peers at minimal or no cost for several months before I decided to officially create a boxing and fitness coaching business.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with kids as low as the age 7 and I worked with teenagers, men, women of all ages and body types.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A random person came up to me while I was walking through a subway station. He mentioned that he follows me on Instagram and how I've been a big inspiration to him and his wife. You never know who's watching you, so make your life big.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that they are knowledgeable, attentive and provide an overall fun and learning experience
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
As a new client, they should be certain if they have medical clearance to take on a new boxing and fitness regimen. Are they nursing any injuries or recovering from operations and/or medical procedures? What are your short-term and long-term goals for working with a boxing coach? Those are just a few basic questions that every potential client should be confident with themselves to answer.
