Hello! My name is Ryan and I have been a personal trainer for over 10 years. I am an avid gym goer and I focus on Range of Motion, Body alignment, proper mechanics, and getting the body back to pre-injury. My clients range in age and location, since I offer virtual and in person sessions, I am able to travel with you wherever you go! My goal for clients is to get you to enjoy exercising and incorporating it into your daily life, teaching you about the body with muscles, exercise names, progressions/regressions to exercise and so much more. I do my best to keep spirits up the entire session, it feels fantastic when you feel great and you exercise, and I'm there for you for when exercise isn't a priority in life and you just need to move your body! I have a certification with ACE as well as specialties in Kettlebell, Triggerpoint, Pre/Post Natal, CPR/AED, Body mechanics, and ViPR.
As I've enjoyed the training aspect I decided to expand into also training clients who are interested in sports such as tennis and soccer. I work with people who are just starting out, want to know more about the game, and looking for someone to play the sport with!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We usually have a first session that is complimentary for the client. We assess the body to see how you move and then from there build a program fit for your needs and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended FOCUSPTI back in 2012 and have since received my certification with ACE, ViPR, pre/post natal, kettlebell training, bodyweight training, CPR/AED, trigger point, and correctives for the body!
I have worked for gyms such as Equinox (most recent), NY Health and Racquet, Clay gym and Complete Body.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each lesson starts at $75 for an hour of training. A rigorous exercise program that focuses on your goals and gets you moving properly and efficiently for maximum results. Proper form and technique is key to seeing results and having your body feel amazing.
How did you get started teaching?
I started going to the gym when I was 19/20 years old, I fell in love with fitness since then and decided to really learn the ins and outs of the training by attending a fitness school (FOCUSPTI) back in 2012.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have clients from all around the world and a lot of my US Clients travel to other states/countries and we train in the hotel gyms, at home, in the hotel room, outside, and so much more!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher is not just wanting you to finish a workout and kill you in the process of you achieving your goals. Fitness is about moving the body efficiently and effectively so that you're not just focusing on the now for your body but also the future. The better your body moves in various positions the better your body can adapt to workouts, strengthening the muscles, stretching the muscles and just feeling great overall
