I love when my clients accomplish something they never thought possible for themselves and they start to become the best version of themselves. They not only get healthier and more physically fit, they also get lots of psychological benefits as well: more confidence, higher self esteem--they improve every aspect of their life.
As they burst through different perceived, often self imposed, barriers, they discover that they're much more capable in many different aspects of their lives.
When they achieve different accomplishments, I get to see the smile on their face. There's nothing better than that. It's really rewarding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Step one: Book a free introductory appointment with us at fit901.com.
Step two: Go to the appointment and meet with the coach.
In this appointment we'll find out the what the client wishes to accomplish. We'll assess their goals and come up with a plan to achieve those goals. We'll map out a route to get there.
We'll also do a fun, introductory, personal training workout based upon their current ability and fitness level.
Step three: We'll start having fun and seeing - and maintaining results!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CFL1 & 2, USAW, KMG-G2
How did you get started teaching?
I've always been kind of a health nut.
Friends always asked me for help and I enjoyed helping them so I began training and got certifications to help me better serve them.
Since I've always loved helping people, it was just the natural progression.
What types of students have you worked with?
We've worked with all different types: different age groups, different levels of fitness.
- People who've never exercised and people who love to exercise.
- People who want to get healthy and people who want to get an extremely physically demanding job.
- People who need to lose over a hundred pounds to people who want to learn how to snatch 200 pounds.
The whole sha-bang.
We enjoy helping every different type of person achieve and maintain their health, fitness & wellness goals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
After having closed for COVID, I was excited to hear from a friend / client who couldn't wait to get back in.
With our direction and her dedication and work, she's lost a lot of weight and per her doctor's recommendation, gotten off of all her meds.
She's excited that we're reopened because she doesn't want to "ever be diabetic again".
Also, we have a younger guy who had never gone to the beach because of not being comfortable in his own skin. He's been working hard with us and recently went to the beach and had the time of his life.
We helped someone lose over a hundred pounds and get physically fit enough to secure a job in law enforcement. He lost that weight and got really fit. Now he works as a policeman in Texas.
There are so many. Just come in and ask. I'll be happy to talk your ear off about our clients. They're truly awesome!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who listens to what YOU want and can help you get there.
Someone who gets joy from helping others.
Someone who is passionate about helping you achieve your goals and maintain them.
Someone who you enjoy working with but will be tough enough to encourage you to do your best and will call you out when you aren't doing your best.
You deserve to have the best.
Once you find that person, the sky is the limit.
Now go get started--NOW.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What exactly are you hoping to achieve?
What type of help would you like?
What have you tried?
What's worked?
What hasn't?
How will your life be different?
What issues or challenges do you have that we'll need to work with and accommodate?
The most important thing is to start NOW.
The biggest hurdle is actually taking that first step, you'll be so glad you did.
