I have had the great honour of training with Mike Lavian for a number of years from the Golden Harmony Kung-Fu Toronto branch. His knowledge, passion and dedication to Northern Shaolin and Tai Chi Praying Mantis Kung Fu and have helped him build an impressive arsenal of skills, in areas which include Qigong, Chin Na (grappling) and traditional weapons (such as the staff, knife and kali sticks). Moreover Mikes clarity, compassion, patience, empathy and good humour have made him an excellent role model and teacher. I would highly recommend pursing the opportunity to train with him.
