We endeavor to make sure you’re getting something valuable with every experience through our one-on-one, semi-private, and group class environments. We care about you, so we’re here whenever you’re ready!
Everything we do is personal. Providing every individual with a personal experience that’s purely focused on their needs and goals in a positive, friendly, and supportive manner, is what drives us to get out of bed and go to work every day.
The team at RDF is awesome!!! I didn’t feel comfortable going to a gym with equipment that I had no idea how to use, and I sure as heck couldn’t jump into a fitness class or major cardio class since I know I would die from a mini heart attack or even worse from embarrassment. Then I found Scott and Cece!! Red Dot Fitness was the perfect fit for me since I was basically a beginner to the fitness world. Scott taught me form, tons of exercises, and he is super motivating on getting me to try things that I would have never done on my own!! The studio is amazing and everyone is friendly and inspiring. No matter how chaotic my day was, once I walked through the doors, I was inspired to do the work. After 30 days of hard work, my body started to feel like it did pre-baby. Thank you, Red Dot!! Red Dot Fitness is a true Gem and anyone would be lucky to call it their fitness home.
We want to learn all about you and how we can help you achieve your goals. Spend 15-30 minutes on the phone with one of our friendly and knowledgeable Personal Trainers and they'll guide you through the next step(s) to success! PhD, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting (USAW), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) are just a FEW of the professional credentials our staff has acquired. Too much to list!
But, it’s really about the on-going education process our team and our community journey through every day. We on-board only the smartest and highest caliber coaches and provide them AND our clients with all the resources, education, and support they need to be awesome.
Right up front, we’re not a one-size-fits-all health and fitness company. Our staff is highly skilled and knowledgeable and we take great care in assuring clients get what they need and want. We want you to know we have several services and options that can be combined/bundled to meet the individual needs and wants of our clients/members/community. Awareness of those needs and wants is vital for a fun and rewarding experience, and we’d love to hear more about you. That said, we pride ourselves on having something for everyBODY.
As owners, we actually started down the path more than 20 years ago. We’ve accumulated lots of "stuff" through our journey(s). Like, earning a PhD, holding Executive/National Director status for the world’s largest health club corporation, recognition as a University Professor, becoming a national educator, celebrity trainer, and blah blah blah. Our extensive bios, as well as our staff/coaches, are easily located on our website if you’re curious.
With over two decades of experience in corporate and private settings, we've assisted with and helped celebrate our clients' successes. From youth to senior, novice to elite, and through a wide-reaching variety of performance and lifestyle goals, we provide the direction, support, and motivation necessary for results that would otherwise be unobtainable. We take pride in our diverse training and client experiences that span multiple fitness services and market segments.
At Red Dot Fitness we’ve earned a lot of attention lately. Have you seen our new facility? It’s awesome. After 7 years in the Willow Glen Business District, we opened the doors of our new 5,600 square foot facility at 850 The Alameda on November 1, 2017. The facility is the latest addition to this historic stretch of the El Camino Real. Clients are treated to brand new, clean, safe, and state-of-the-art equipment that allows personal trainers to fulfill the unique performance and lifestyle goals of each individual. Recent additions include private spa-level shower facilities. We're pretty proud of our space and love to show it off. Fee free to contact us for a tour!
Advice: question skillfully and listen carefully.
A thorough interview of your future Health & Fitness Professional should be conducted prior to investing any time into a visit or any kind of session.
What qualifies the prospective "professional" to address your individualized health & fitness history, goals, needs, and limitations?
Do the prospective professionals and facilities provide the environment, community, and level of support you need and desire to make long lasting change for a healthier and happier you?
Be honest about your time:
Succeeding at your health goals depends on realistic time commitments. This is real life and real life is busy. Set yourself up for success by answering these questions:
• How much time can I commit to my workouts?
• How much time can I commit to meal prep and cooking?
• Am I committing time to other activities that aren’t a priority or working against my goals?
• Am I overcommitting?
Having these answers will help you align your priorities and help your personal trainer to develop the best fitness and nutrition program for you to meet your goals.
Set realistic goals:
It’s tempting in the intense glow of a motivated moment to set BIG and unrealistic goals. Resist the temptation! Instead, work with your personal trainer to set SMART goals that are achievable and realistic based on your unique situation and time commitment:
• It’s not realistic to lose 10 pounds in one week. It is realistic to aim for 10 pounds in one month.
• It’s not realistic to spend two hours in the gym every day when you work full time and have a family. It is realistic to aim for one hour most days of the week.
