I have been training with Knox for a week now, he is amazing! Always on time, excited and ready to go! Knox is a great listener, he listens to your needs and goals and works with you to achieve them. He has helped me not only on the workouts but also In my healthy food intake change. Giving me a variety of example of healthy eating. He checks in with me to make sure I am doing what I need to do to get to my goals. As far as the workouts, they are simple yet very effective and as we go they get harder and harder because I become stronger and stronger. He motivates me to do better. Knox is such a nice guy, very respectful. This week has been amazing, I will keep training with him until I reach my goals and I am happy/grateful to have him as my trainer.

I have tried many trainers and without a doubt Knox is the best. He gets results and worked with me for my goals. I have lost 18 pounds in my first four weeks of training. He has helped me with diet suggestions and sends me motivational texts every day. His workouts really work. I would recommend him to family and friends for sure .

Knox had been in the fitness world for several years. The results I have achieved are largely due to Knox's perfect combination of diverse training, individualized programs and challenging yet achievable goal setting. His professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiastic passion to his work and clients, provides the foundation for a successful healthier lifestyle!!!!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

On the first day I sit down with the new client and go over their health and fitness history. At this point I will find out if the client has any injuries or history of back problems or knee issues. After this we will discuss nutrition , meal planning and training schedule. We will finish up with a 30 minute workout which is very important for me to see the clients strengths and weaknesses. This will help me in moving forward with the clients program.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked in the fitness industry for 24 years. My experience in the fitness industry has been from Gym management to 15 years of personal training. I have been to 7 advanced training classes for Gold's gym and have worked with athletes from Brentwood Academy and Vanderbilt. Please look at my LinkedIn  profile for a complete background in the fitness industry. You can also look at Pilkerton Training on thumbstack for high reviews from clients.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My price for personal training and nutrition guidance is $50 for an hour session.

This includes daily email and messages to keep each client accountable.

12 sessions up front I charge $320 for personal training and nutrition guidance.

How did you get started teaching?

I started off as a personal trainer back when I was in college. While playing lacrosse , I would work with several athletes on the team on the side. I definitely had a passion for this. When I left North Carolina and came back to Nashville after my senior year I took a job as a floor trainer at local fitness club in Nashville. This was my first in club experience as a trainer. I would take all the new members through an introductory workout and through this I started getting clients.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with beginners to advanced athletes from Brentwood Academy and Vanderbilt.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I think that working with one of my clients and helping him not only lose 50 pounds in 5 months but finding out recently that after several years he is finally off high blood pressure medicine definitely meant a great deal to me.
