About
--**Invest in the Best**--
Aliveness is priceless. So are the costs of sickness, injury, and depression.
--**Enjoyment**--
It’s possible to have every movement to be pure relief, instead of a holding-breath struggle.
--**Less Thinking**--
You’ll be able to trust your own intuition; letting the sensation do the thinking for you. There’s a lot of ways to workout...the best way is the one you’re most likely to actually do... which happens to be the one you enjoy the most.
I've enjoyed 8 years of full time play with clients and their referrals. All this time and I'm obsessed! I'm a professional acrobat as well (hand-to-hand to be specific).

How did you get started teaching?
People kept telling me to :). Best decision I ever made.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly people who were new to exercise or who haven't exercised in years.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Client with with back pain for years (after a car wreck) without being able to figure out how to work out or be pain free. She enjoys slamming medicine balls down after powerfully scooping them up. A great stress relief from her busy work day. We ignited her love for body-weight and gymnastics-like training. She is addicted and is likely a life-long exerciser never to take for granted the ability to move her body confidently ever again.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I go into detail in my blog article about these three key questions:
https://www.offthebenchfitness.com/blog/how-to-choose-a-personal-trainer
- Can I open up to this person?
- Does this trainer intend to keep me as a client as long as possible?
- Can he/she deliver the appropriate coaching style for you?
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you tired of the 'grind' of rigorous exercise? Are you open to trying a 'no pleasure no gain' approach?
